Default 2003 Fatboy Radical Paint Question

Hi,
I aquired the pictured paint set for a 2003 injected or carbed Fatboy. It has both my local dealer and myself very puzzled. First, this is not one of the colors offered for the 03 Fatboy. The sets in the catalog were either black with red flames or black with blue flames. Second, the number on the set near the 100th logo is 00/200, meaning this is number 00???? Has anyone ever heard of this? I would have thought the numbered sets would begin with 01. There has been some speculation as to this being a prototype set, but I have nothing in stone. Any help or info would be greatly appreciated.
John

I wish I had an answer for you. I will say the paint looks awsome.

They are Cool!!

I would say go ahead and install them unless you are going to try and get some Cash off of the Collector Value.

Thanks for the replies. Buddha, is that a black set you showed in the pic (#68). If so, the black was offered in the catalog. One more thing I forgot to mention is that to my untrained eyes, the fenders, while they are blue with the same airbrush design, appear to be a slightly different shade of blue on the main body color. I brought the set to another dealer yesterday and he sent a couple pictures to Harley. Hopefully I can find out what I have. By the way, I had Racepaint USA do a set for me and that is what I currently have on my bike, so this set could be available if anyone is interested.
Thanks
John

John,

It was a Black and Blue, I posted that pic since it showed the number. I think the coolest paint set for that year looked liked "alien/webs" for the FXST. I saw it on a bike in a MN dealership. 15K for the bike then another 5K for the custom set. It was sharp but not for a "daily rider"

I have a "Bones" black and tan for the FXST. They guy sold in with a "nick" in the paint it was righ next to the fuel filler and would be covered with the fuel cap on. I think it was around 600 including the shipping.
