I was at the dealer today got a few prices what do you guys think.2009 deluxe red hot sunglow smoothe wheels for 20,400 out the door.I think I can do better.2008 white pearl and grey for 17,745 + 500 in store credit.Got the ok from the wife if I stop smoking haven't smoked in 8 days.

 

Congradulations for not smoking for eight days! Hope it continues and you get the bike you like. Both will be very nice rides.

 

Pricing is really based on the local market. Pricing here in Detroit is different than NY or Fl. for example. Stay away from those cigs!

 

The deal on the '08 sounds a lot better.
Obviously they want to move them out.
If you are going to keep the bike for a long time, I would take the '08 deal and save the cash, especially since the only change from "08 to '09 in the Deluxe was a few more paint combos.

Why not get the 08? Better price for not much different of a bike. Congrats on the non-smoking BTW!!!!!

 

If the '08 price you quoted is OTD, thats a great deal! You're lookin at a little over $3000 in savings including the $500 spending money for virtually the same bike....I'd grab that ''08 if I were you....Good luck!

I was in the same situation and I picked up teh leftover as it is the same bike, the money I saved bought pipes and bars. It is the biggest no-brainer of all time. Been 5 years w/o a smoke, when the urge hits get on your bike and remember the commitment you made to your wife. good luck and try to beat up the stealer on the 08 as the bike market will decline in conjunction w/ the stock market. Disposable income.

 

Whats MSRP on these bikes. If your even paying a single penny over MSRP your getting ripped, regardless of year. Most places now sell HD's at or below MSRP plus normally give you a few hundred bucks in free accesories. You people do realise the economy is at its wort in over 50 years right? So dont be foolish........
