If you ride hard or ride 2 up a lot then your right hand turns will be hindered greatly. I've got a standard with this set up. I ride hard and 2 up and the bottom exhaust pipe is ground down and banged up from right hand turns.

Thanks for the input. Looking at Vance and Hines' site, it appears that the lower tip hangs right at the swingarm pivot point. Without having any real world experience, it would seem that you'd have to have an extreme lean angle to drag anything. However, most of my riding will be one-up and my bike will stay at factory ride height also. Again thanks, this is helpful in deciding what to do.

I have them and I have scraped the lower pipe a few times during right turns. My bike is lowered though.

I haven't had a problem with them dragging.

I used to have them on my fatty, and I dragged them a couple of times. You gotta lean pretty hard to drag them though. I still say get them as they are a killer pipe and not all that common on softails.
See my Gallery as there is a pic of my bike with them on.

Beautiful pic. Looks good with flat back ones, which will go great with my Denim Black.
