Default More Planted?

Just wondering if anyone out there has traded up from a 21 inch front softail to something with a bigger front tyre like the Cross Bones for example.I would like your opinons on the handling, cause i fancy a bike that feels more planted on the road.Hope to hear your thoughts on this.

I have never swapped wheel size, but I have had both. The wider front tire does feel better. It does not wander as much, like when you hit grooves in the road.

Well i can answer my own question now. Yesterday i had a demo ride on a Fat Bob and yes they do hold the road better with the bigger front tyre. I would have prefered a Cross Bones but they had sold the demo bike but i've got an idea of how it handles until i can test ride one.
