Default 1st Road Trip Post Stage 1 Upgrade

I did a ~200mi ride today, mostly highway ranging from 1000 to 4000ft of elevation up around Roosevelt Lake here in AZ. I have put about 500mi on it since I added the stage 1 goodies of mostly city riding. Temps today was a pleasant 75 degrees. Down from ~100 last week...finally. Speed was mostly 70ish. Bike did not miss a beat and ran pefect. Calculated mileage was 44mpg average with the best at 46mpg. Pre stage 1 was about 45 - 48mpg for highway mileage. Mine has not been dyno tuned...yet. I am using a modified version of the original Fuel Moto PCIII map with the mods only to the ignition map. I needed minimal throttle to pull 70+ mph on some steep grades, and could easily crank it up when necessary. So in summary I am pleased with the performance. I do plan on getting the dyno in the next 2 - 3 months.

Sweet! I love your pipes. Did you do the Fuel Moto map install yourself?

I did everything myself including the PCIII map downloads (FM preloaded the original map) which are easy with a laptop computer. You definately need good quality tools for the work which I have. It makes all the difference. I am taking it on another similar ride tomorrow. I think a dyno using advanced map will really dial in the motor. For now I am happy with the way it performs.
