Default Second Bike

I am considering a Softail for a Second Bike and was wondering what model you Guys Ride and would Recommend. I am redoing a Sportster 1200 and a Buddy wants to buy it when done and will be looking for a Bike to replace it, I am looking at the Softail Standard, Softail Springer and I Love the Deluxe also. I want something Lighter to Ride besides the Touring Bike.

I just recently did what you are planning. I have a 06 RKC and now a 09 Night Train shares the garage with it. I absolutely love this bike, I think any of the softails are great in their own way, the fun is picking the one that suits you the best. The cool part about owning a touring bike is that the softail can be stripped down for the shorter rides.

I love my fatboy, it's comfortable on long rides but is great around town too. Since you have a touring bike you can keep it stripped down to the bare minimum, which is the way I prefer mine.

if i was you i would go to a local hd dealer around you and test ride them.....you can also rent a harley for a day on weekdays for like $80 and the ones around my area usuallly have a really good selection of bikes to choose from but if i was going to get another bike i would go with a fat boy or night train

Took a Crossbones on a demo ride last weekend. It was so much fun I didn't want to get off.

I've got two bikes; a Sportster and a Deluxe....I choose the Deluxe for it's versatility into either a nice mid-range tourer or a cool around the town cruiser....The Deluxe is basically a Heritage dressed differently...If you already have a Touring bike, I'd go with something racey looking like a Rocker or Night Train and do it all up...Also, Fatboys look totally slick when customized properly...Good luck.

I believe you want to buy a Fatboy in that case. It can be a Cruizer or a Touring bike.
