Brake fluid sucks
Went for a ride a couple of days ago, noticed something not right on my front brake handle. The black finish is bubbled up in one spot. So further inspection revealed my reservoir is leaking. Back to the dealer I go. Seems like they could make a brake fluid that dosent ruin paint!

DOT 5 doesn't ruin paint but they went back to DOT 4 a couple of years ago.

Cover rubber seal leaks, common problem. I lower the brake fluid level and replaced it with a chrome cover, problem fixed.

Yep, they made the switch when they started offering ABS on some models. DOT 5 is incompatible with ABS (though DOT 5.1 is okay).
