Red face Rear Fender Trim for new Fatboy

Help - does anyone know whether there is a rear fender trim available for the current Fatboy which has the wider rear tire .... and wider rear fender ? It would be useful to cover up some stone chips I picked up recently. The latest 2009 parts catalog only has rear fender trims for the older models with the narrower rear tire/fender, and apparently according to my dealer, there are no definite plans for HD to release one for the following year.

No luck, I'm afraid .... still looking. My local Harley dealer can't guarantee whether one will be available in the 2010 parts catalogue, either. I've noticed that a few people have asked the same question on other forums so perhaps HD will get the hint !!! I'll let you know as soon a I find one.

Just picked up the 2010 catalog, nothing there for rear fender trim. National Cycle has one that is supposed to fit, but it runs around 80-90 bucks.

Found this one from National Cycle. I talked to CS and they guy assured me it will fit the wider fender. I am not loving the design, not hating it either. It looks bulkier than I like. My main drawback is the fender needs to be drilled. What if HD comes out with one, then it might not cover the old holes. If this one gets damaged, will a replacement be available.

Yeah the pic they provide doesn't really give us a good idea how it will look on a Fat Boy

I need something to cover up a small dent in my rear fender that I found right after I bought the FB. The dealer will fix it, but it means giving up the bike for a week. I thought of putting trim on it anyway to prevent rock chips and the dealer will pay for it. Just still not convinced I like the way it looks. I wish HD would make the one for the 06 to fit, I really like the way it is designed.
