Harley Heal Rest

Harley Heal Rest
I have seen a few post regarding 2 and 3 inch extensions of foot controls and thought I would have to go that way for some increased footpeg comfort and flexibility for longer rides.
I had seen the kury switchblade rear pegs, but nothing else. Since I had installed the skull footpegs I did not want to change the pegs again.
While at the dealer I saw these heel rest that work with attachable pads similar to the shifter one. $120.00 plus $30 for two pads, I had to think about it.
On another visit I found the Airfoil Heel Rests for $120, I bought for $105 with an MVP discount.
According to Harley these rest are:
"Designed to complement H-D® Airfoil™ Footpegs, these Airfoil™ Heel rests help reduce rider fatigue on a long trip and add a touch of style around town.
PN 50281-01"
I installed these with my skull footpegs and longer 3 inch bolts from the hardware store and they are great. The bolts included are apparently for shorter pegs.
They still seem beter than the two piece since the pad stays on the unit. The height is also adjustable.
Just my two cents since I saw no other threads on heel rest. I do not work at a dealership.
