You shouldn't do anything without the manual unless you want to bend the push rods. What are you trying to do? Valve ticking?

Why yes I do but I'm not going to spend the next X-amount of time typing it when you should have a service manual; it tells you what rod goes where and "how-to". How I would type all of it? By getting my '95 Dyna service manual! The dark ones are exhaust or have purple bands (intake are orange) and arranged as "P-O-O-P" plus have a wide band at the ends if they're adjustable, but I guess you'll have to just TRUST me. I see a major overhaul in your future; there is also a procedure to follow to allow tappet bleed down before engine rotation. Get a service manual before proceeding any further! What's more important: riding tomorrow or replacing the whole heads because they "blew up"? You could not only bend a push rod but ruin the whole valve train (cams, heads, valves, pistons) by doing it wrong esp. if you're using adjustable pushrods. Besides this how are you doing the torque sequence? I never solely re-ly on the kind-ness of strangers... or let strangers solely re-ly on mine.
