Default Raise My Deluxe

I think I've out grown my Deluxe?!?! When I first got it I thought it was great being so low to the ground. Now I'm thinking it's about an inch or two too low. I've got plenty of room when standing over the bike at a light. Is there a way to raise the whole bike an inch???

Yes there is a way to raise the bike....You can start with taller shocks and springs...The Deluxe uses the low profile versions...you need whats on a Fatboy or Heritage...While you at it you can also put thicker oil in the front springs that will make the ride less bouncy...I know what your sayin about the deluxe being so low...when I first rode one, I felt like I was sitting on the pavement...

Get a Hi Lo Airride. You will have 4" of adjustment. Check them out at http://www.hi-lorider.com/

I love my system. All the guys I ride with have them. A killer product and there is a lifetime warranty on the product. Well worth the greenbacks.

Pretty sweet system here...Never saw this brand before...I think Progressive might make something similar....a little pricey though...

LOL, I know what you mean, I love the low ride of Big D but mine could really use 1 inch up to be a perfect fit for me;-)

I think I'll look at the Heritage shocks that WarriorHD mentioned.

I'd try raising the seat an inch. Be less expensive than raising the bike.

I've been riding my wife's old Intruder which was tight for me. I raised the seat an inch and it made a ton of difference.

Good idea, I wonder if a Heritage seat will fit on a Deluxe?

It should as a Deluxe seat fits on a Heritage.
