I'm partial to the black pipes on the Bones. I like the wraps on some but it's hard to keep them as black as I like. I have V&H short shots - less work than wraps. The chrome tips are just enuff to compliment the the other shiny parts. Like OldSkool, I have blacked out my covers so I try to keep the chrome to a bare minimum. I also like the shorter pipes because they expose the wheel. Just looks cleaner to me.
Off the topic, OldSkool's departure from the Ape's was pulled off to perfection. It totally goes w/ the bike....took me a while to figure out what was different.
