Default V&H True Duals - 05 Deluxe

I am considering the above for my Deluxe and have a question for anyone who have installed these on their bike. I am looking at the way the rear pipe goes into the rear cylinder. It appears that there is a support brace that is in the way of the where the rear pipe goes to attach to the rear cylinder. Am I seeing this correctly?? I downloaded the instruction sheet from the V&H website and it doesn't look like they address this at all.

Does anyone know if this in fact the case or am I missing something. Look forward to hearing anyones comments on this.

The rear exhaust pipe is made in 3 pieces, there is no problem with it comming into contact of the support bar you are talking about.

It's a bitch to retighten the manifold nuts once it is installed with the covers in place.

Tighten the flange nuts prior to installing the heat shields if possible. I have Samson's and had a problem with the flange nuts on the right side pipe. If you are doing this yourself allow plenty of time. It is simple but there are a lot of pieces to put together. Took me about 6 hours taking my time as I installed everything and then discovered i had to take off the heat shields to get the flange nut completely tight on the engine. Tape up your heat shields with blue painters tape to keep it from getting scratched, but take it off prior to tightening the shields down as if you ahve any on the back of the heat shiled it will be impossilbe to get it off if they are tightened down. Trust me, I know...
