I recently scuffed the left side of my gas tank and was looking at replacing it as well as get all the tins powdercoated (Black denim just is not a forgiving paint). I won one oFf ebay that says it was from a 2001 Hertitage FLSTCI but will fit a 2000-2006 FXSTBI. Will this also fit my 07 or did harley make some sort of change. Appreciate all the help!

 

I can't verify the fitment to your bike but I will warn against having your tanks powder coated if they have tank sealer in them. It doesn't matter if it's cream coat or the newer red coating, they will both burn out in the oven. Let me tell ya, it's a BIG mess to try to clean out when that happens.

What is the going rate to get fenders and a tank powdercoated?

 

2000-06 softails had 130-150 rear tires,06 up have 200 rear tires,i know the rear fenders are different.harley told me the tanks are also different 06 up.that tanks for the 01 is more than likely from a bike with a carb.i would bet your 07 has fuel injection.just what i know hope this helps.
