Power Commander V (possible rant)
well not sure if this is a rant or not.
I have a heritage classic 2009, and heard that the PC III will not work on this bike, well 2009 model, and have to wait for the new PC to come out, which I heard will be called Power Commander V USB.
(here comes the rant part)(though joking rant) When the hell is this PC V coming out?? I have my big bore kit, my pipes, my air intake, my new cams, want to install everything and tune it right with the new PC but they still haven't launch the darned thing!! GRRRR
Love the bike, hate the stock exhaust sound lol
P.S. if anyone knows anything please speak up lol

Take what I say with a grain of salt. I wrench at a dealer, but I am not biased. I have used power commanders and fuel paks on my own bikes. I never will again. I just bought an SE Super tuner. It leaves nothing on your bike, and works well. There is little space to put these add on's.
I have seen a lot of fuel pak failures. Wrestle for an hour to get it on, then 45 minutes to remove it, then another hour to redo them. The power Commanders virtually have no base maps, forcing you to get it dyno'd. I have also seen many failures on the PCIII. They lose maps, and I have seen a few burn up wiring harnesses.
The sert is attached, you program the ecm, then remove it. Done.
