Default 2 into 1 exhaust

Why?

I would think it'd have to be more than just an asthetic thing? Does it provide more low-end torque? what?

Yes. the low end torque difference is noticeable. If you go 2 into 1, it sounds a bit quieter, if you only care about the look and performance, go for it. If you want noise, 2 into 2 is a better bet.

2 into 1 exhaust provides more performance because of the scavenging effect. Just like a good set of headers on an automotive engine.

Any 2-1 is better than a stocker exhaust.. Don't matter which one ya get. I like the Kerker's. They are rated right up there, you can buy off slightly used off eBay for a buck and half. JMO.

Yeah NOISE!!! I like noise!

When I decide to do this, and it may be a year or two, and unless I change my mind I'll probably go with V&H Big Shots Staggered.

Good choice, if that's what you want!
