Nova dont know what you mean by tips but here are Rush Baloney cut. Maybe this will give you an idea.

 

---I don't have any tips on mine but they set about the same perspective as the ones W/tips (about the same size). Really like the sound-mine are 1 1/2 " baffles and sound about the same as my friends slip on Pythons !

I've got the 1.75's with tips. There's a couple pics in my gallery.

 

Here are mine. You order the tips the way you want as they are made on the exhaust. And yes those are harley heat shields on the Rush.

 

I think what he's getting at is what I've got...rather than order the pipes with a certain "cut" on the end, you can order them "tip compatible", meaning a straight cut, drilled. You then purchase tips separately and install them. It's more expensive that way...added $120 to the cost for my pipes, but I like the tips on mine.
