I know there are people that have done it. If you do a search on the site you can probably locate the pics of it. There are a couple of companies online that sell them and have photos of it on their website

I dont have pics but there is a rider in my group that did it. i will try to get some picks this weekend

I was out and about last week and one passed by. Confused the snot out of me until I realize what it was. Up until then I'd never seen a Batwing on a Softail but it looked good.

Mine isn't a Heritage but you should be able to get the idea. I have a pre-80's style that is open behind the fairing and now knowing, would recommend one of the vendors who sells one with the closed in back. They all look about the same on the front; it is the back design and ability to remove/dock that make a difference. If you buy with a radio, make sure it can be switched out as the technology changes yearly.

I met a guy with a 2000' or so FLSTC and he had the Dragonfly fairing and a set of RK early 80's thin hard bags. Man, I was impressed at how well the whole package looked on a Softail. The early style thin bags don't overwhelm the bike and seem to be about the right depth.
