To make a kinda long story shirt, sunday night i went out for a ride to visit a friend. Some lady hit me pullin into the parking lot. Im fine and the bike only needs a rear fender fender strut and turn signal. So it seems like a good time to have the whole bike custom painted. The bike is vivid black and still want alot of black but was thinkin red flames with some skulls comin out of the flames alot like the 2008 street glide Radical Custom Collection - Apocalypse Red in the harley accessiories book. Anyone got an more idea or pics or something that would look good.

Browse the site, there's a ton of examles to choose from and the guy does stellar work. Reasonable prices for a 3 piece set of tins too. Make sure you have the fenders you want when you get it all painted if you use this place.........I paid less than $2k for my paint, later asked how much to paint a new front fender........yikes......$700 with me supplying the fender.

check this job out. It's simple but hits the concept of a "Night Train" dead in the head. If I had a night train I would go with this. Maybe throw some subtle red flames on the background somewhere. These guys look like they do awesome work.

I asked the same question a few weeks ago and i still have not made up my mind and the bike gets painted in 2weeks time!
What i have done is picked a scheme i think i like then save it to "sceen-saver" on my computer, if you get sick off seeing it on there every-day then you are likely to get sick off seeing it in the garage every -day.

 

Me like the train paint job. Flames and skulls are everywhere.

 

I had my bike repainted after a crash last June. I am attaching a picture of the tank but you can go to my album and see the whole bike. It is scheduled to be in Iron Works magazine in March.

Im not against the flames and skulls i really like them. But you do see them alot, but i think i want them anyways. I saw the train tank the other day and like it alot. But i dont think its what i would want on my bike.

 

There are so many painters out there, where do you begin. I have also seen vivid dragons work and like it alot. Here are a few more I have found.

P.S. I luv Skull and flames also. There may be alot of them out there, but they are all different. Go with what you want.

 

Got mine painted by a local painter, but I am out in GUAM so not much options for true bike painters.
Anyways, subtle tribal graphics on the black cherry HD color. Dark and almost black at night and overcast day, but maroon color in the day light. Here are some pics.
