Default FXSTI / FXSTC Front wheel

Hi,
Im in the process of fitting a 2007 FXSTC profile wheel to my 2006 FXSTI, I know I will have to change the bearings on the wheel to 3/4" but does anyone know the spacer sizes I will need, I think the hub on the FXSTC may be slightly narrower. Any help would be appreciated.

Well I managed to get the new wheel fitted by swapping the bearings on the wheel to 3/4 bearings. The spacers were infact different although the Harley parts book said they were the same.
The 3/4 bearings sit slightly proud so I was able to use the 2006 spacers. 1" bearings sit flush and would need 2007 bearings.

Anyway when I took my 2006 wheel off and removed the tyre I found that there was a substantial amount of rust on the inside of the rim and underneath the tape. I think if I hadnt found this it could have caused a punture in the near future.

My bike had never seen rain, is well looked after and kept covered in a garage....the rim should not be rusty after 2000 miles and 23 months old. Anyone who is changing tyres soon should have a close look inside around the tape...just in case

Default rust...

...that figures, as I wash my dang bike so much that it's bound to have rust in the front rim if I were to ever take off the rim tape. I do use high velocity air dryer after every washing.

The front rim on an 07 fxstc is chromed aluminum, not steel. Can't figure out where you got the rust from?
