Default Forward Controls Fat Boy

Has anyone installed forward controls on a 07 Fat Boy? How difficult of a job is it and
your thoughts on eliminating the floor boards and going with forward controls,
likes and dislikes.
Trying to make my mind up.
Thanks for any comments or suggestions

I have floorboard extension kit on my 07 FB and rest my feet on the very front part of the board, rarely putting my entire foot on the boards. I know there are many companies out there that make the extended forward controls but I would like to get a real time feel for them before shucking out the $$$.

If you want to extend your floorboards for 80 bucks take a look here.

If you want to move them even further out to 4" for 130 bucks then take a look here

My brother did it to his 07 and it was fairly easy. Alot more comfortable than the floorboards too.

Keep the floorboards and get hwy pegs, I like to have both, at least you can stretch your legs on long ride.
