Default It's been fun but...I've gone to the Bagger Side.

I first want to say the softail forum has been a great place to hang with some great tips and answers. I will be around. Just more on the bagger side now.
Traded in my 05 Softail deluxe today. I have been pondering this for some time. I was looking for the right bike that was 06 and below without putting allot of money out. I found it. I now am an owner of a 2005 Black Road King Custom.

The bike has a 95" kit, gear drive Andrews cams and custom heads. Has 12K miles. 5K less than the deluxe. I know the guy that built the motor. Not built wild just built for some extra power and torque. Has some cool chrome and a quick release bat wing type fairing with stereo. Basicly the best of both worlds. I got a good price for my bike and got the king for a good price. For what it cost me I am a happy camper. I will try and figure out how to get pics posted. Every time I try I muff it up. Any easy way ?

So I have some Parts off my deluxe that I will be listing here first before going to ebay.

Interesting. Congrats. Some great folks on the sofe side and I miss a lot of them. I too left the softies for a touring bike and it took a while to get used to. Now I'm very happy with my decision. You'll grow to love your King the more you ride it. I wish I could tell you how to post a sig, I just stumbled on to it. There are some tutorials somewhere, but damned if I know where.

It's not that we're old, although some of us are, we just have more crap to carry as we mature.
