Who has put a nacelle on a fat boy? How hard is/was it? Is there any special advise you would offer when installing one? From looking briefly at the instructions, it doesn't look too bad. I've got an 04 with passing lamps and detachable windshield. Thanks!!

 

Just make sure it will work with your light bar and shield......
Not all will. I wanted to replace mine with just a chromesmooth and it is different than the standerd ribbed Fatboy tins and would not fit with all lights etc.......

P.S. not hard at all.........4 bolts and your headlight.......

 

According to the dealership, it will fit. Along with the extra mounting kit...another $50. This damn bike is gonna break me......

I really hate to pay them to put it on, if my husband and I can do it ourselves. He's a lot cheaper to pay than them!!!!

 

You can do it........take your time....don't scratch it and you'll save a few bucks.......and with the money saved you can buy more chrome......and so on and so on...

 

And think how much closer the two of you will become after you finish the job............unless of course you screw it up!!!!!!!!

 

Oh yeah....more chrome....as if I needed any more chrome.

Oh, don't even say "screw it up".......that would really suck!!!!! A "screw up" is how it came to have the custom paint it currently has......

 

One thing for sure,Much better looking than a stock lamp !
