When I took the reflectors off my Rocker, I just heated the up with my heat gun and pulled them off. I used to goo gone to take off the left over adhesive.

Here is a pic with no reflectors.

Ahh good call, I'll do that! Thx!

A guy at the dealership said to use fishing line to run behind it then scrape off the excess. I figured there must be a better way, didnt think about just heating it up.

Just get out that junk chisel in the bottom of your tool box, and the biggest sludge hammer you own. It only takes a couple full swings and they will be gone....lol Just kidding. Actually if you heat them up and then use fishing line to peel them off, there is very little residue to clean up. An alternate to the "Goo-b-gone" is just spraying a little WD-40 on a rag and wiping them down.

Cool, looks like heat + fishing line + WD40 + a little elbow grease is the winning combination.

Man, I love these boards! Thanks as always guys.

Try Crest Glide dental floss. Works great. WD-40 after to clean up any goo left over.

I tried fishing line and it didnt work worth a crap.
Use a heat gun or hair dryer to warm up the adhesive.
Pull 'em away with your fingers or use a plastic spatula.
Goo-Gone or WD40 gets the leftover gunk.

there was a huge post on this a couple of months ago. Just do a search for "removing reflecors"

I just pulled mine off real slow, then used goof off to remove the adhesive.

I remember the reflectors on the forks were cake. They popped right off. The ones on the rear fender struts came off but left a lot of residue. I was able to use some 3M Adhesive remover to get rid of the remaining gunk.

+1 for fishing line and WD-40

Took me about 20 min per side. Sawed thru it with the line and then cleaned up with WD-40...all gone.
