Default How many lights can I add to my heritage?

I was wondering how many lights I can add to my heritage before I'm drawing more power than it's able to give?

I have already installed Auxiliary Running Light / Brake Light / Turn Signal Conversion Kit but I also want to install:

1. Sissy Bar Auxiliary Brake and Tail Lamp
2. Electra-Glo Rider Footboard Edge Light Kit
3. Electra-Glo™ Light Pod Expansion Kit Amber
4. Electra-Glo Lighted Passenger Footboard Cover Kit

Thanks in advance!

Well the good thing is it is Christmas time so you could pick up a 100 light LED strand of Chrstmas lights and an AC/DC inverter. And Light that puppy up!

LED lights do not use to much power so I think you could run up to 30+ light pods before you even reach 2-3 amps. Now I am talking about Motocycle specific Lights not the Xmas ones.

You'll have NO problems with that setup. I can run the headlights/2 85w driving lights/heated gloves jacket and pant liner/and the radio (with amp). the voltage will hover at 11 while at idle but then goes back to 14 volts at speed.

You can run alot of lights before your even close to drawing to much power, especailly if they are HID. you can run an ohm meter on your battery before puting any additional lights on and then after the lights are installed and see what the difference in draw is.

Find out what the capacity is of your battery and alternator,

than add up all the amps of ALL electrical equipment, see what the gap is....

divide gap by number of amps of the lights planned, answer is 42....
