It's tough to get an accurate sound off of YouTube. Cams, headwork, bore, compression ALL alter the sound.

GoergeC,
Thanks for the comps. I like the color too but, I'm getting the heartland kit and having a new set of tins painted by Attitude Custom paint. I'll keep the original tins for when i want a change.See some of their work.

Add to the mix a Headquarters 0034 Hurricane cam, and you're in Hog Heaven.
I agree. The Fat Cat, with quiet baffle, sounds pretty good on my 2005 SE Fat Boy, with the 103" engine.

I'm not an expert on all the various pipes out there, and have almost always had vance & hines straight shots on my bikes. I have tried a number of different baffles in them though: the standard V & H ones; the V & H quiet baffles; a set I bought that I don't remember the name of; some custom ones a shop made for me; the big city thunder regular baffles; and most recently the big city thunder quiet baffles. All in all, I like the new big city thunder quiet baffles the most. Great sound and a little quieter. I think I liked the big city thunder regualar baffles the least. I thought they sounded great at idle, but after that had a funny sound to them.
