Default Denim Black Heritage

My possible Winter project ........ I'm in the early stages of mulling it over.
I'm thinking about painting my Vivid Black 08 Heritage Denim Black.
Anyone familiar with how easy/hard it is to get this paint from Harley?
Can it be obtained from any Auto paint store?
I have a friend who paints cars for a living and I can get it shot for a couple six packs if I supply the paint.
Any Idea on cost?
You guys think it would look good? Ever seen a Heritage in Denim Black?

If I remember correctly, I ordered paint from Harley and it costs about $300 (black pearl was the color). That is enough to paint more than one bike, but they don't sell it in smaller quantity. Suprise, suprise

I was told that the denim effect was only because of a matte clear coat over the black. And that it was a pain to get perfect since you can't sand or polish it.

Why not ask your friend. He should know!
