i had a pulley squeak but it turned out to be the belt guard was mounted between chrome rail and the plastic guard. just changed the order and the problem was gone.

Try spray silicon and check to make sure there is no rubbing.

Default belt

it squeaks under power the loudest and chirps when you let out of it not sure if its the belt or pulley the only thing that i changed was the pulley using the same belt just my luck it could be the belt and just started at the time i changed the pulley but at 180 bucks for a new belt hard to just change it to see if that fixes it thanks for your response

I believe that they changed the belt tooth contour or shape back around 07 when they went to the narrow belt.
So it may be that you have an old style belt and new pulley, or vice versa.
The fact that there is a gap on both sides of the belt and spray wax makes it go away leads me to wonder if its not just the belt teeth rubbing on the pulley slots.

There is a guy who "fixes" pulleys by cutting the teeth off and replacing them with a polly ring that's supposed to be virtually indestructible, lets belts last longer and is noiseless.

I have seen his stuff advertised in the back of American Iron and one of the magazines did a test and gave them high marks for it.

Thanks tk353, that's the guy I was thinking of, just couldn't remember who it was when I posted my original answer.
