They all look better without, but sometimes, you gotta have storage. It took a long time, but I finally gave in and put bags on mine. They look good, though. I have to keep the passenger seat and backrest on, too. My wife rides with me sometimes, and it's a pain to put that stuff back on every time. I've gotten used to it.

 

off, i also have a fatboy and use leatherworks bags with easybrackets that i put on if im going some where that i think ill need the storage otherwise i like the looks of the bike w/o them.

For me, stripped down look, no bags, no backrest, just solo seat. You can always put them back if you travel

pull the pinion seat and mount a road king fender luggage rack when riding solo.

I personally like the bags AND the backrest, but I'm obviously biased; and I never really follow the majority. I feel like I'm about the only one who actually LIKES the 105th colors, as well. But I bought my bike because I liked the way it looked, I style it the way I please and you should do the same. It's YOUR bike! I do like the solo look also, but that's not an option for me since my wife likes to ride with me and since I like having the ability to carry stuff...just my $0.02.
