get a C&C Solo seat, they fit the FatBoy like a glove. I go solo unless she wants to ride. If it's a long overnight haul, I have a luggage system that fits on the rack. Bags IMO don't look good unless the are hard ones and on a touring bike.

Thanks guys, lot's of opinions and suggestions for both directions. That's the nice thing about quick detach. I have the options. I appreciate the input regardless of how fat your asses may look in your jeans.

I vote no bags and solo seat.

BTW, those wheels look very similar to mine. Are they PM Torque?

No sir, not sure what PM Torque's are but these wheels are the Blade Custom by Harley Davidson. Click Me for Details!

In My Opinion since when do hard bags only look good on a touring bike?! Cause my Stretched Bag Fatboy Lo begs to differ HAHAHA! Go with what you like being different isnt always a bad thing, I like your silver Fatboy stripped down shes a beautiful bike, I went a different direction, either way your on a Harley, Keep it shiny side up!

Your bike looks better without those bags but just like the bike above I've seen some pretty wicked bagger softails. I plan to go with stretched bags for my other softail.

No bags, no sissy bar and no passenger pillion imo. But for a long trip I'd throw all that stuff back on.

Nice looking ride. Especially like your wheels! I definitely like the looks better w/o bags, but adding bags was the best thing I did to my '07 Fatty along with my 14" apes. My bags are always on because I carry water, gear, firearm, basic tool kit, cap, etc... and I may find something that tickles my fancy when I'm out and about. I usually take my bike to shop and run errands around town since I have bags.

However, as soon as my Mustang solo seat comes in next week, the luggage rack and back rest will be staying OFF unless I'm going on an overnight road trip!
