Default Throttle Mate Lock

Anyone have one of these on their bike? If so, is it a good piece of kit? I see them for sale on eBay, with testimonials from "real" Harley riders, some of whom supposedly belong to the HDF. I'd like a good throttle lock for those longer rides, but don't want to throw my money away on a piece of crap either. If anyone has one of these on their bike, I'd be interested in hearing your opinion of them. Thanks...

Kato-

I have one, and it's AWESOME!! Works as advertised. Goes on in 30 seconds, and works great.

Geez, I find my "Thumb" and the stock throttle locking device work just fine.

Anyone know if the local Stealer sells these? I'd like to pick one up.

We have them, and they work well. They are easier and faster than just using the thumb screw, and they can be used with heavy gloves. My wife would never use the thumb screw because of it's inconvience. She uses the throttle mate all the time.

Regards,

Bill

I have tried both the "Throttle Mate" and the "Klever Lever".

My preference is the Klever Lever.

I count the Sturgis Trottlemate as one of the best accessories I have put on the scoot.

I have one and it works as described, I like it.
Its not cruise, but it gives some relief on long rides.

Is it hard to install? How exactly does it work?

Its funny how the e-bay guys are selling it for more than if you just bought it directly from the website.
