Wire removal/turn signal harness...HELP!
Hi, and thanks in advanced....
I just swapped some Wild 1 Chubby bars onto my Springer Classic, and to make a long story short, how do you remove the signal wires from the black plastic connector that plugs into the harness on the frame's backbone? I relocated my signals and want to have the wires run as cleanly as possible but, unlike the switch wire harnesses that I ran through the bars, I haven't been unable to remove the signal wires themselves from the plastic connector. It is a flat black plastic connector with six wires (the two blue, purple, and black from both front signals).
What am I missing? The other connectors were so easy to remove the wires from....
Thanks!
Carl

kind of hard for me to explain, there is a clip on the back were the wire first enters, that will pop up. then you can take a pin and slide it between the connector and the plastic housing to push down the metal bards. Pull firmly and they should come out. Don't just rip them out or you will brake them.
