Default I put a 200 tire on my Softail

My bike was a Heritage when I bought it. This is what it has evolved into. What do you guys think?

the whole rear end was about $1,200. including paint. I lowered the rear fender giving it 3.75" of travel. (might lower suspension another inch.) Had a hell of a time getting seat to fit. Had to make frame extension under tank and trim pieces of the rubber tabs on seat bottom.

The rear fender was $90. from American Classic Motors. Cheap but had to put several hours work into it. (its hard to make a cheap fender perfect) but it looks ok.

I made the side mount plate by flipping my lay down plate upside down and fabricating a piece of aluminum angle then added LED lights.

it is a 2000 heritage. I put the thinner belt and pulley off of a new Fat boy on. Bought a DNA wheel with a wider hub so I machined .500 off the pulley and .1875 off brake caliper and a thinner spacer between brake caliper and hub.

Very nice looking bud. I luv the color also.

Did you have to space the front wheel off center since using the fatboy parts? It looks like though you went to a 21 up front?

What fender is on the rear?

Those cell phone pics are hard to look at...

Share the private stash bro.

From what I think I see you are gonna hafta lower it a tad to take full advantage of the fender wheel relationship....I think?

Like the look tho!

Now go take some good pictures in the light and stop being so selfish with the good stuff! LOL.

Maybe a good side shot so we can throw in our collective .02 cents on why it should be lowered!

Nice ride! I like what you did plus it looks like you didn't buy one of those high dollar "fat tire" kits. I want to do the same to my Fatboy, but don't want to spend the money for the kit. How much do you estimate that you spent?
