Default Carb Cleaning

What is everyone using to clean their carb. Can you, or should you, use regular carb cleaner?

Default RE: Carb Cleaning

I get that carb cleaner that you get in auto parts stores, the one gallon can with a basket in it. Take everything apart (count number of turns on every adjustable screw and write it down). Also, make sure you don't put anything that is rubber in the cleaner. Follow the directions on the can for soak times, if it has been sitting for several years, I double the time and sometimes clean it twice. Wipe everything down and use compressed air on all the holes before re-assembly (don't stick a wire in there). Replace all the gaskets.
