to late for synthetic?
I just got a 2003 it has 9300 miles would it be to late for synthetic? The bike has never had synthetic in it.

I have run it since 1,500 miles.
Runs cooler
Takes heat better
Possibility of extending longevity on engine with less wear, versus standard dino oil.
My reasons for using synthetic, so sure, why not.

I don't think so..............hell I did on my old 96 Dyna and it had 13000 on it.
I also noticed the gas mileage got better too.

I saw Synthetic 10 w 40 meijers brand for around $3 a quart. If synthetic is so good I think I'll try it as my winter blend.
