Cool chrome pulley or cover

Sup bros & sistas. I'm having to replace the rear tire on my '08 Deluxe & while it's off, I'm wanting to either replace the pulley with a chrome one or put on a chrome cover over the original. A pulley looks great but is hi dolla, while a cover is cheaper but I havn't seen one installed. What do you yall suggest & what have yall done with your softies with this part mod.

Same here...i put a cover on and chrome bolts for a fraction of the price of a chrome pulley. The covers wrap around nicely. Can't even tell it's a cover. Looks good to me.

A cover is cheaper to replace when the chrome starts to peel. If you decide to go with a custom pulley, consider polished aluminum. You can always buff/polish it to look like as good as chrome and it won't peel.

I did the same as BlkandChrome by using the cover with the chrome bolt covers. It really looks good with the chrome uppper and lower belt covers and you save a lot over the chrome pulley.
