Default finnaly got our ride back

well back on may 23 me and my girlfriend were in a head on at about 25 mph with some dumb women who thought she could beat us through a intersection. we are good still hurt a little here and there but for the most part of it we are good. it took over 3 months to get our bike back and we missed riding the whole summer. it cost just under $10,000 to fix it and here are some pictures of what it used to look like and what it looked like after the acdent and what it looks like now. let me know what you think.

we had to get a whole new front end, rim, frame, handle bars, and more but those were the most expensive

before

after

the bike finnished

Looks better than new. Accidents suck but one thing different about cars and bikes is that with bikes there's no patching this or painting that. Damaged parts come off, new factory painted ones go on. Always a good time to upgrade. That's how my wife got Chrome forks on hers.

well my ins paid to fix my bike and they went after the other inc to get the money back. that part went easy. as for the personal injury claim we are still fighting. they think they are going to get out cheep and just pay our medical bills. needless to say i told them i want the max for each of us. we lost out summer and could not do anything and if it wasnt bad enough not having the bike we could not even play with out 18 month old tuins. that is what really got us upset. just becouse she wanted to save a sec and get through the intersection

well oct1949 i asked that question as well when the qoute came in. and when they got the value of the bike it came back at $19,500. witch i thought was good for a 2007 with 10000 miles. i was shocked. the only reason i did not total it my self is becouse we have 4 grand in the motor that we would not get back becouse my ins does not know about my motor work i had done. and sence they replaced the frame and front end i was ok with it becouse we basicly we got a bran new bike.
