Default Heritage ape hangers

recently added 16" apes, problem is the movement of the bars backwards and forwards. Is there a harder rubber mount?

You polyurethane riser bushings to start. Rubber bushings are no good with apes.

+1. The poly's are much stiffer and make a big difference.

I have 18's on my bike with the poly bushings...They are great. Im not sure the rigid mounts work all the well the taller you get with the bars. The vibrations multiply the taller you get so a rigid mount on a taller bar is going to transfer quite a bit....You should be good with the polys

I have solid steel bushings on my train with 14" apes. Dont vibrate and they are solid as hell. $16 at the dealer.

I would keep the rubber mounts. take the riser bolts off and lube the threads so you can get the risers tighter without over torquing them. I have minimal movement and vibration.

I ran with rubber miunts for a couple years...switched to poly a few months ago and can't believe the difference...wish I'd have switched them a whole lot sooner.
