Just my opinion, But I think the new Fatboy looks like CRAP!!!!!!!!!!!!!

And whoever decides on paint schemes needs some training on what colors look good together and which ones don't. Black Cherry w/ red stripe??? UGLY!!!!!!!!!! Powder Blue??? FUGLY!!!!!!!!!!!!! Olive Pearl??? FREAKIN UGLY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

What about the 96", 6 speed, 200 tire bouncing on 17's?

 

I don't ever see myself buying an FL, but I like what they did with the bike..
Consider yourself lucky that you have the style of Fatboy you love the best.

 

I might be missing something, but it more or less looks like a Fat Boy to me... Most glaring difference I can see looking at the website is the holes in the wheels, everything else seems pretty subtle.

Not all the colors are to my taste, but enough of them are.... I'm not 100% sold on the accents in the paintjob and I kind of like the more traditional Fat Boy tank emblem, but other than those pretty minor things I don't see anything too bad.

All the same, I'll keep my '02 (though on some of the straight, flat, wide open desert roads around here the 6-speed would be nice!!)

 

Thundercloud, That is one fine looking fatty you got there. My hat's off to you. I just love to look at what other guys have done and I love it. Nice ride.

I like it. It actually looks pretty good to me. I don't care alot for the rims; but overall----it looks good to me. And that back tire!!!!!

 

i agree they ruined the look of the tank. imho They did the same to the 06 heritage with that wierd stripe or whatever they call it on the tank.

I also agree that someone other than the color blind dude that pics their colors should be hired for paint selection. Some colors match and some clash. Someone should be taught the difference.

Watch it, Hacksaw! Actually, the "Machete" stripe on the '06 Heritage is a very similar to a strip on an old hardtail bike I just saw in Hogtales mag. Looks like about mid-fifties era. To each his own.
