Default Should I lower the back and front or just the back

I am going to lower my bike 2007 fatboy. I am going to lower the back but am contemplating on doing the front. I want it to look bad *** but also want it to handle nice still. I will get the spring kit for the front if I do lower it. I heard that by lowering the front and back you scrape to easy and the ride is not very good. Eventually I would like to get 18" wheels on the front and back. What do you guys think about lowering the bike, what have you guys experienced?

My opinion is you need to lower the front and back. If you lower the rear and not the back, it makes the bike look like the rear springs are sagging.
I would lower the front at least 1 inch, if you lower the rear 2 inches. This is my opinion. But I have always said this, "Lowering a bike is like Drugs, You keep getting lower and lower". If you drop it only 1 inch I bet you will drop it the full 2 inches that most kits provide before your done.

Man keep it even but if not make sure the rear is lower than the front. The turns will get skirly if your front is lower than the rear...handling cosmetics i guess....

Actually when i had my rear lower than the front it handled a little funny also....so do it correct and lower front and rear...Good Luck!

Slam it. Scraping will only startle you the first few times. I slammed my Road King and now I just go into turns anticipating the scccceeeeaaaaccchhhhh...

Uneven frames are like a bad boob job; one nipple higher than the other. Done fast, done cheap and without any care.

Thumbs down

Back only, you"ll regret doing both! Friend did both, 03 FATTY. He can't even go into a corner without keeping the bike straight up and down. He almost comes to a stop going around the corners, he's an accident waiting to happen. With his friends right behind him like me, ready to ride INTO him.
