If you want a 300 the kit from Rick's out of Germany wins hands down...nothing is offset,300 tire centered in the stock frame....and you can install it in a weekend...piece of cake if you ever want to go back to stock.

Wink 2006 Fat Boy

I think you should go with whatever you feel is appropriate for your style - but don't forget about safetly first. I will post pictures soon of my 2006 Fat Boy with a PM 240 tire. It looks sweet - I am very excited for Bike Week this year because I will sport a 240 instead of a 180 and I am a girl. Husband says he will not park next to me now. He He....

300 fat *** kit, how much did it cost? I went to the site, but they don't list prices and you have to call for a qoute. So can you give me a ball park price? Looks great by the way.

There is a price list on their site BUT, if you don't read German and have your Dollar to Euro calculator handy won't do you much good.

Probably have to buy thru American dealer

Default 92 Fat Boy Stearing

May I ask a question. I rie a 92 Fatboy and my stearing seems to be heavy. I rode my husbands 92 Police model and it is too tall for me but the stearing was so much better. Do the Fatboys have a heavy feel to the stearing or do I have a issue the the shop needs to look at. Thanks for any advice you can give me.

I have a 2004 Fatboy with a 240 wide tire kit from Performance Machine. It looks great, but I sacrificed a LOT for the look as I lost a lot of comfort on handling. I would go no bigger than a 240 kit, I've ridden a 300 on a sport bike and it just did not want to turn easily. I love my fatboy, but I finally just bought a 08 Heritage so I could ride long distance and be comfortable.
