Default Wide Tire Kit for FatBoy

Hi. I am researching about Wide Tire Kits. I have a FatBoy 2008 that has already stock 200 mm rear tire. I am thinking about a 300 mm rear tire kit. Some kits needs right side transmission but a company (Zeel) has an option that keeps the left transmission and stock parts. Has anyone experience on this? What about riding and turns?

i would stick with the 250 kit from heartland as far as the bike still riding comfortable 300 is pretty big and i have ridin a few customs wit that 300 tire and the ride sucked...just my opinion ...goodluck with ur project im sure it will look great both ways..

Heartland 250 for sure. It comes with everything you need. We sell their stuff at a deep discount as well. PM or call if interested. The shop is open today.

I would just go with the 240 or 250 kit from pm or heartland. I decided to go with the heartland kit because it came with the seat in the total price. Plus there are more options available with the heartland kit..... I have also rode a bike with a 300 tire, rode smooth but you have to really lean the bike when making turns or the bike will want to straighten up when making turns. I don't know, JMHO.

Agreed with the other post, the 300 tire does want to stand the bike up in corners
