This screams SCAM

 

I beg to differ on the scam. I have been on this site for a while. I had a 2004 Heritage which I had an accident with. I was in the process of having the bike repaired and I ordered the windshield because I had damaged the windshield in the crash. However at 76 my physical injuries did not recover as quickly as my bike. Someone approached me about purchasing the bike and I agreed and furnished them with another windshield that I had with some minor scratches which satisfied the buyer. If you will notice Freedom windshields do not make the windshields until you order them. So with that in mind, I had sold my bike before the new windshield arrived. I now own a Can Am RT-S which fits my need. I resent this being called a SCAM after the pain I went through after my accident. Thank all of you for letting me rant. Better yet, contact Freedom Shields direct and ask them about order number 33424 dated April 6,2023 for a total of $227.89 ($199.95 + 27.94 shipping) for Leon Douglas 1331 Jackson Road West Chesterfield, SC 29709. No desire to call you....but putting phone numbers and addresses on an open forum is not common practice. Not to mention the "Softail" section is not where this belongs. Good luck tho.

 

Calling someone a SCAM should not be common practice either. I was just trying to clear this situation up because all I am doing is trying to clean out my garage. Plus last time I noticed a Heritage is a Softail.

 

I think I have a pretty good grasp as to what a "Softail" is. Especially a Heritage. Don't blame me because you're throwing out digits and addresses. Softail section, yes. Not Classifieds, NO.

 

what he's getting at is that you need to post for sale items in the softail section of the parts page. The first reply to this thread was a link to that.

 

OK I will try that. I have never posted anything for sale on this site, so I am sorry that I did it wrong. Being called s scam sort of threw me off my game plan.
