Default Front brake light switch

Yip, I broke the tip off the front brake light switch (didn't know about the shim in the front brake lever trick). Rather than installing a new switch - which is a pita, I epoxied a small piece of plastic to the end of the switch and put everything back together. Works fine for now - hope it last. Anyone else glue a piece to the switch to fixe it??

I have a tiny screw threaded in to the center of the button that gets pushed down... Cause friends would say that when I hit bumps on the road my brake light would flash. I got tired of peeps telling me I think you have an elec. problem... lol

Mine has been out for about 3 years now. I have the new switch in my toolbox but still never seem to find time to put it in.

Used a security tag from a DVD cut in half. The adhesive sticks to the back of the brake lever, and it's exactly the right size. If/when the adhesive gives up, I'll just buy another DVD and do it again.
