thoughts on a rear fender bib? i had one on my super glide, it came with the bike. when i took it off to clean the bike for the first time i noticed it left a mark in the paint. i love the look of them but don't want to screw up my bike. do they make one for the two bolts

They do make one for the two bolts. I've been thinking about getting one because I wonder if I would be more comfortable without the passenger seat on. I feel like it puts pressure on a weird spot on my lower back sometimes.

I would think the best way to make sure it wouldn't put any marks on the paint (other than soft felt on the back, which it already is supposed to have) would be to make sure it is installed snug so it can't move around. As long as it's solid in position it really shouldn't be able to scratch things up.

I have had the HD fender bib off and on my bike for 4 years and have not had any fender scratches yet.

the felt part was fine, it's the outer edge that made the mark, it's braided. i have a leather shop near here. i could have them put some felt on that too i guess. saw a guy with one that had the red white and blue harly number 1 patch sewen to it. it looked good on there. wanted to do the same thing but maybe with the dark grey patch..and that's why i'm asking here cause you(Misbehaven) and Gomme have it on your bikes
