91 FLSTC Speedometer bulbs burn out
|
I have a 91 FLSTC that seems to eat the speedometer bulbs. The bulbs burn out quite frequently. The Harley Owner's manual bulb chart states P/N 71099-74. This part translate to an ANSI 1815 14Volt .2Amps, Base BA95. The 91-92 Service Manual bulb states P/N 71090-64A Can anyone confirm the ANSI part number? Any suggestions to keep the bulbs from burning out? I have also replaced the speedometer rubber mounting kit.
