Never mind, it seems they make it although it is sold out. Looks like I might need to become a dealer for them.

I think I will try the new Metz 21" 140 for my front setup as soon as this one wears off. My front fender is huge and the front 120 that I'm running now looks kinda lonely in there...

nikonf8,

Avon and Metzler both recommend narrower rims for the 90 WWW. Hogpro who probably sells the most Harley rims of any parts company recommends no wider than a 3 inch rim with a 90 WWW. There are plenty guys running a 3.5 but why chance it? The 3 inch rim looks d@mn good and IMHO offers a little more safety...or at least peace of mind. As I said earlier, I had the 3.5 and sold it before I mounted it to buy a 3 inch. Because of the 27 inch outer diameter compared to the stock 25 inch, the bike will sit up a little higher in the front than stock. I am going to put a lowering kit on the front and drop it 2 inches. I just added the shotgun to the rear.

I have only ridden the bike 1 time so take this with a grain of salt. The handling is slightly slower than stock due to the increased outside diameter. I am sure once I get used to it, I may not even notice it. I am having a hell of a time getting my front brake to work as before so I was reluctant to push it. I'll get it sorted out and post more thoughts in the next week.

Well as usual i have received all the info i need to make a wise decision thanks to the great forum members who chimed in on this thread. after listing to all the posts in this thread i would have gone with the 21 3 inch for safety purposes but now that dusty came up with the 120/70 21 WWW my choice would be the 21 3.5 with the 120/70 21 WWW. any one ever heard of that brand and know of there quality. any one called to see how long a wait on this tire. once again i thank all that have posted on this thread you can always get the info you need here

I emailed yesterday asking about becoming a dealer and am yet to hear back. Most companies respond immediately, although does not necessarily have a negative connotation. I know nothing of the quality of the tire.

It's made by Vee rubber, the company that makes the huge chopper tires all the big builders use.

Doc, check out www.veerubber.com I believe, they have some contact info and even a dealer login section.
