blicious photo trail
Just wanted to share some pics of the build on my first bike, 2008 Rocker C. I bought it used in December 2009.
The way it was the day I brought it home...
The first thing I did was take off that funky *** license plate light/bracket and put a side mount, take off those mirrors and put on some originals, swapped the iso grips w/avon contours and added some chrome hand controls...
I also removed the BIG *** 9 1/2" Arlen Ness headlight and put on a headwinds chrome billet housing w/the oem lens. Also, I put back the stock front turn signals w/some chrome billet relocators...
I rode like that for a few months until I order the Heartland kit along w/their front fender and some chrome axle covers...
Then came the paint. I wanted to keep the colors and scheme close to how it came originally, so I came up with a black w/red metal flake flame job. I also had the badges removed from the tank...
I put the tins back on along with some flush mount gas caps and a S&S teardrop air cleaner then did a small photo shoot while I was waiting for my wheels and some other goodies to come in...
Finally, the boxes I was waiting for came in and it felt like x-mas!. Polished PM wrath's 21x2.15 w/metz 90/90 and 18x8.5 w/metz 260
PM super gas A/C w/a wrath insert...
Magnum sterling chromite II cables & brake lines...
Much mahalo (thanks) to my brother-in-law Eric for ALL his hard work and advise!!!
None of this would have ever happened if it wasn't for him. He's the one who convinced me to get a Harley and I love it!!!
everything's on and fits perfect!...
After all the hard work and a good cleaning I took it out today to take some pics...
