Default HD & Marlboro man bike? Start with?

If you were to build a bike "inspired" by the bike in the movie 'Harley Davidson & the Marlboro man', which bike would you start with? I would like a new project next year and want to build a bike to resemble the bike but not duplicate it. I was thinking I would start with a used Deuce.
Also anyone striped any tins and polished the metal for clear coat. If so how did you accomplish this.

Your thoughts......
Thanks Mike

80's or early 90's FXR. Chop the neck and hard tail the rear section with solid struts. At least that is what they did for that bike. 89 FXR if I remember correctly

Yes, it was originally an FXR. If using a newer bike, a Dyna would be a lot closer than any Softail. I'd like to get those tank graphics painted on my bike. One of my favorite paint jobs.

Keep us posted on the project. I have always loved that bike, and would love to get blackdeath to duplicate one for me; but if I recall...it was about a $35,000 duplication..
