Default Primary Noise

I'm new to the Harley world, just bought a 2007 Heritage Softail with 10000 miles. Don't know if it's a problem, but when the bike is running, i can hear a noise from the primary almost like a hissing sound. Bike runs and shifts great but do notice that the primary chaincase cover gets real hot. Is this something I need to have looked at or is this normal ?

Sounds normal to me. Just make sure the oil levels are good and ride it like ya stole it!
